Description

Irresistibly sweet vanilla pecan pralines, quick to make and perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 7 oz evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (cubed)
  • 11 oz vanilla or white chocolate chips (Ghirardelli recommended)
  • 4 oz marshmallow creme
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans (toasted recommended)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, evaporated milk, and cubed butter.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to bubble. Allow it to boil for 4–5 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the white chocolate chips until fully melted and combined.
  5. Mix in the marshmallow cream and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped pecans until evenly incorporated.
  7. Using a spoon, drop heaping spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared parchment paper.
  8. Allow the pralines to cool for 20–30 minutes or until set.

Notes

For a smoother texture, ensure your butter is at room temperature. For crunchier pralines, toast pecans in a dry skillet before adding.
