Description

A nostalgic and comforting dish combining savory ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, crispy tater tots, and gooey cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onions over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Top with frozen tater tots, then sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider using garlic powder or paprika. You can also add vegetables like frozen peas or corn for extra nutrition.
