- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- ½ tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 – 2 tablespoons dried oregano (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the tomato paste and tomato sauce until smooth.
- Add the dried oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt, black pepper, and sugar.
- Stir thoroughly to ensure that all the seasonings are evenly mixed into the sauce.
- Taste the sauce and adjust any seasonings according to your preference.
- Spread the sauce over your chosen pizza dough before baking.
Notes
Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Adjust spices to taste.
