Description

Delicious and easy-to-prepare Pan-fried Veggie Buns packed with vegetables, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, green onions), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Oil for pan-frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add warm water gradually and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine cabbage, cooked vermicelli, mixed vegetables, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a circle and place a tablespoon of the filling in the center. Fold the dough over and pinch to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the buns in the pan, flatten slightly, and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Add a little water to the pan and cover to steam the buns for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Knead the dough well for better texture. Experiment with different vegetables based on your taste or what you have at home. Ensure the filling is not too wet to prevent leakage while cooking.
