- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch; this helps them cook consistently.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Generously spread the mixture over each chicken breast, ensuring they are entirely covered.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the baking dish, and if you like, sprinkle a little paprika or Italian seasoning on top for added flavor and color.
- Bake the chicken uncovered for 35–45 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Experiment with different cheese and spices for variations.
