Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and honey until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well integrated.
- In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
- Fold in raisins or chocolate chips if desired.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag.
