Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef along with the diced onion over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
- Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly over the potatoes.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the beef layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top generously.
- Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for approximately 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
