- 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley or green onions (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked sausage, drained Rotel, cheddar, mozzarella, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the dip mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or green onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.
Notes
For a spicier dip, adjust the cayenne pepper or add diced jalapeños. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
