Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir this mixture into the chocolate mixture until well blended.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop tablespoonfuls of the cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
