A delightful loaf of banana bread that’s moist and easy to make, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  4. Stir in the melted butter until well incorporated.
  5. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until blended.
  6. Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then stir gently.
  7. Add the flour and mix until just combined—do not overmix!
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
