Description

A comforting and easy Crockpot dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy sauce, served over fluffy angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and set the crockpot to low. Cook for 4 to 5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. About 15 minutes before the chicken finishes, prepare the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Plate the angel hair pasta and place a chicken breast on top, spooning extra sauce over as desired.
