Description

A heartwarming and budget-friendly beef stew made in a crockpot, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients into your crockpot, including beef, beef broth, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and bay leaf.
  2. Gently stir to blend everything together.
  3. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  4. Before serving, remove the bay leaf.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy this cozy meal!
