Description

A comforting dish featuring juicy chicken and buttery egg noodles, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove chicken and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about a minute.
  4. Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet, ensuring they are fully coated in the buttery garlic sauce.
  5. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a splash of chicken broth or white wine when tossing the noodles. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
