- 2 chicken fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Crispy fries (for serving)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.
- Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Once done, remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, making sure it gets coated with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Plate the chicken with the creamy sauce right over crispy fries and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half and half or chicken broth. Don’t skimp on the garlic for better flavor.
