Description

A comforting and hearty casserole made with savory ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and gooey cheddar cheese, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
