Description

A deliciously cheesy dip made with refried beans, cream cheese, and cheddar, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the refried beans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, cumin, and garlic powder until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden.
  5. Garnish with freshly chopped green onions before serving.
  6. Serve hot alongside tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using reduced-fat cream cheese. This dip is naturally vegetarian and gluten-free; just check your tortilla chips.
