Description

A vibrant and flavorful dip combining fresh ingredients into a creamy experience. Perfect for gatherings or a weeknight treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • ¼ cup basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • 8 oz feta cheese block, crumbled
  • ½ block cream cheese (4 oz)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • More basil leaves, chopped, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes, for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese, freshly grated, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced Roma tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Toss gently and set aside to marinate.
  2. In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, crumbled feta, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil until creamy and smooth. Adjust salt to taste.
  3. Spread the creamy cheese mixture evenly onto a serving platter. Top with the marinated bruschetta.
  4. Garnish with chopped basil, red pepper flakes, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Let the tomato mixture marinate for at least 20 minutes for the best flavor. Serve chilled and with a variety of dippers.
