Description
A quick and delicious Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry, perfect for busy weeknights with tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thinly
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water to steam the broccoli; cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still bright green.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
Cut the beef against the grain for more tender bites. Use fresh broccoli for the best texture and flavor. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots. Adjust the seasonings based on your taste preference.
