Description

A quick and delicious Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry that balances tender beef and vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  3. Toss in minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant (around 30 seconds).
  4. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, stirring frequently.
  5. Add the broccoli florets along with a splash of water. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender but crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

Slice against the grain for tender beef. Prep ingredients ahead of time for a quicker dinner. Don’t crowd the pan to achieve perfect sear.
