Description

Crispy fried pickles made in an air fryer for a guilt-free snack that’s perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Dill pickles (or your favorite type of pickles)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour mixed with salt and pepper, another for the beaten egg, and the third for breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each pickle slice first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the breaded pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Spray with cooking spray for that perfect golden color.
  6. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a crispier texture, consider double-dipping the pickles in the egg and breadcrumbs. You can also add parmesan cheese or herbs to the breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
