Description
Crispy fried pickles made in an air fryer for a guilt-free snack that’s perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- Dill pickles (or your favorite type of pickles)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour mixed with salt and pepper, another for the beaten egg, and the third for breadcrumbs.
- Dip each pickle slice first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray with cooking spray for that perfect golden color.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a crispier texture, consider double-dipping the pickles in the egg and breadcrumbs. You can also add parmesan cheese or herbs to the breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
